Operating out of nearby Pennsauken New Jersey, David R. Johansson is an accomplished abstract style artist featured among the framed art collection at Maple Shade Framing & Gallery. David has been an avid painter for many years, while recently focusing his efforts on the abstract style. His use of bold color, splatter and pastel techniques are the very essence of abstract art and David has been recognized for his work by the Betsy Ross House.

His work, Pop Art And The Flag (shown below) inspired the Betsy Ross House to invite David Johansson to participate in their first annual Betsy Ross Flag Fest in Center City Philadelphia. David participated in the event for two days and produced two six-foot canvases of American flags.
